Denise - Going To Great America
When I first got to Great America I saw a lot of rides. I also saw Charlie Brown and I got to take a picture with him. It was super special because it was my birthday!
On the car ride there my brothers were already making plans. They kept on saying they were going on all the roller coasters, but the only roller coaster they went on that was really fast, fun, and scary was the Grizzly. I could hear all the screams and laughs from the rides which got me excited and scared. I imagined the day would be fun and scary with all the rides.
I tasted my first snack at great America. It was so good! it was a pretzel. Then I went on a ride that took my breath, and made my stomach hurt. The ride was so fast that it felt like my flesh almost came off! I also went on a water ride with my family. My mom didn’t want to get wet but she did. I liked the water ride because it was fun and when I felt the mist it was so relaxing.
The places I wanted to go most were the gift shops. They were so tempting! The only thing I couldn’t stand was the smell of my brothers sweating from all the walking. I got to taste my first bacon cheeseburger. It was so tasty! I even got my face drawn into a cartoon and my body into a mermaid. I also got a one-hundred percent cotton shirt that has my name in the front. I had such a great time at Great America.
