Sherlyn - My Aunt's Farm

One day I went to my aunt’s farm when I was seven years old.  I was excited to go to her farm because I had never been to a farm before.  My two older cousins went with me.  There were a few hills and lots of green grass.  A big river that someone else owned was next to her farm.  My uncle, two cousins, and I would go swimming in the river.  We found big, heavy rocks and little seashells.  My cousins would let go and float away down the river and then come back to where we were.

Snake holes were all around on the hills.  There were chickens on right side and llamas were on the left side.  I saw a baby white llama who was cute, and his name was Max.  His fur was soft and smooth.  He would listen for big noises by twitching his ears a little bit.  I miss him because I haven’t seen him in a long time.

At the farm, my aunt had a black cat that liked to rub against me and other people.  He liked to lie down on the cement near the door outside of the house.  He liked to dig his claws into the floor.  They were very sharp like nails.  He had a loud meow if someone stepped on his tail.  I got to pet him, and his fur was really soft.  He would snuggle next to me.  I liked him very much.

My aunt’s house was so nice I wanted to live there.  I had a good night’s sleep.  I woke up and ate breakfast.  We stayed and helped my aunt and uncle clean up.  Then I went home.
