Lizbeth - THE STORY ABOUT MY DOG

The Things I did to get Osita

The things I did to get my dog weren’t easy. I had to convince my mom and dad, but most of all my dad, who was difficult to convince.. It was hard but we got to him eventually. I told my dad that I’d be responsible for cleaning up after and training Osita to be obedient and to be nice to others. My sister Ivett literally bawled her eyes out saying “I wannttt heerr”. I brought  her home. My dad put on a face that said, “ Why’d you bring her?” He’s grown to like her.

The Sensory Things About Osita

I got Osita when she was only 3 months old. She was a light brown, very cute, and bigger than all her younger siblings. As my dog got older, she started changing color from light brown to white with a little bit of dark brown that looks like a line going down her back.  Osita’s fur is as soft as baby’s skin. She smells like tangerine every time we bathe her (which she doesn’t like very much). Every time there’s someone at the door she barks a few times to warn us someone is coming to knock at the door or is by the house.

Osita’s Things That Make ME HAPPY!!

She LOVES to eat.  She’s always by the kitchen begging for food or if anyone has food she’s right there asking for some. Ostia even sits down and gives us her paw just so we can give her food. Osita’s name means girl bear in Spanish. A funny thing that matches her name is when she lays down her front paws spread like bears paw. Osita even knows when we talk about her because her ears sort of go up in a way like she’s listening. She loves to make my little twin sisters fall when they’re running by running between their legs. Osita is the best first dog I have. She’s just awesome at all the little things she just does to make us happy!! I think I’ve learned to be more responsible and be more helpful around the house. I’ve grown up since we  got Osita.
