Ivett - I Love my Dog

I love my dog she is pretty.  Brownie is not mean she is nice!  She is a gentle dog and does not bite.  Brownie is scared of people she does not know, but people are not scared of her.  She is a playful dog.  When she has a ball in her mouth she wants you to throw it to play with her. After, she you play with her, Brownie will want food.  She will run to her food bowl when she is very hungry.  Then, after she is done eating she will need to go to the bathroom so we let her outside.  When she is finished we bring her into the house, then she just lies down and goes to sleep.  If Brownie hears any kind of noises like when my sisters are loud she wakes up, but goes back to sleep right away.  Brownie is a good sleeper, but when her beauty sleep is disturbed too many times she does not go back to sleep, and stays awake!  I can’t wait to see her every day!

My Trip to Lincoln Pool

Once my mom, big sister Lizbeth, two little sisters; Valeria and Perla, my aunty Anjelica, my cousins Diana and Norma went to the Lincoln Pool in Manteca.  We took all of the stuff out of the truck that we needed for the day.  We had food, chairs, a small table, blankets to lie on, and towels to use when we got out of the pool.  I asked my mom if she had two dollars so I could pay to go in the pool.  While I was walking to pay my cousin Diana came along.  I asked her if she had two dollars to come in the pool too.  She said, “yes.”  Then I asked her “where did you get the money from?”  Diana said, “I got it from your mom.”  I said, “ok.”  Then we went in the pool and started swimming.

It was really hot outside and there was a lot of kids swimming too.  My sister Lizbeth was in the big pool with us, and my little sisters were in the little pool.  My mom was sitting in a chair and aunty was sitting on the blanket watching us through the fence.  Norma was sitting on the blanket texting on her phone.

I was swimming around in the pool, but got tired of just swimming so I jumped in from the side of the pool.  Before I jumped in I asked my cousin Diana if she wanted to jump too.  Diana said, “no.” So I jumped in without her.  When I jumped in I asked Diana ”why?”  She said, “because I only jump in when I first get into the water.”  I replied, ok.”

We were swimming until late in the afternoon.  We would take breaks about every thirty minutes, but would get back in the water after about a ten minute break.  I had a lot of fun.  We go swimming often.
