Jason - Las Vegas Vacation

When my family was going to Las Vegas it was an eight-hour ride. It was very long, so we stopped two times at the gas station. I was bored so I tried to fall asleep, and I did fall asleep.

We got to Las Vegas at about 9 or 10 in the morning. We went to check in to the hotel room. In the casino it smelled like people smoking and, I didn’t like that smell and wanted to get out of there.  While we were checking in, my dad said, “ Hey everybody look! It’s John Cena.” It was kind of cool to see John Cena, but I’m not really a John Cena fan.

We got really hungry so we decided to go eat and found a buffet.  I was starving. It smelled really good. When we went in, I went running to go get my food.

I put orange chicken, chow mein, rice, beef broccoli, and something that was like beef broccoli but it’s red on my plate.  It was the best food I ever ate.

After I finished eating, we left to go to the arcade. We played a lot of games. It was a big arcade. I rode a motorcycle.  To start the motorcycle, it’s just like a real motorcycle. You push on a pedal and it starts.  The handles were really high and I felt like I was really riding a motorcycle.  I was like a policeman chasing people. I rode this about seven times.

After we were done playing all the games, we went to the roller coasters. So I went running.  I tried to get my older brother to go on, but he didn’t want to. So I got on.  The roller coaster started, and at first it went straight, then it got dark and you couldn’t see anything, and then it dropped and my stomach started to tickle so I held it tight, but then there were five loops and my stomach kept on tickling. The roller coaster came to a stop and I thought it was over, but it went backwards and did the whole thing all over again. I thought, “Oh no, I don’t want to do this again.” I was mad.  When I got off, my parents asked, “How was it?” I said, “It was scary.”

I went on the disco ride with a lot of people. I was sitting next to my cousin. When it started, we thought that it was nothing. It spun really fast. You could hear people yelling.

When we got off, we all went to the bumper cars with my brother and cousins. When it started, we all bumped each other. It felt like if we were in a real car crash.

They started to close down all the rides. We rode one more time in the bumper cars then my brother said to go to the laser tag.  At laser tag you shoot at people and when you get shot you say, “HIT!” When you get hit, the jacket you wear vibrates. I was winning all the time. We left because they were turning off ever thing.  Then, we walked really fast to go back to the arcade. It was already closed too, so we went to go eat dinner at the buffet back at the hotel.

After we finished eating, we waited for the train to come that would take us around the whole city. The train was awesome because we saw a lot of people and magic shows.  When we got off the train, we went back to our room on the 16th floor. Our room was number 34. The room was as big as my living room at home. Then we put our clothes and prizes on the floor.

Next, I went for a walk to see the light shows with my mom, dad and brother. The lights were colorful with green, red, blue, and white colors. Then my dad told us to go in the car to go see more lights and shows.  We went to a magic show that was one hour long, but it felt like more than an hour. At the magic show, we saw a really cool guy that was doing magic and making people vanish and bringing them back.  After the magic show, we went to go see another attraction with people doing tricks on their bikes.  One did a double backflip.

Once the shows were over, we watched fireworks being shot off from the top of a hotel.  The fireworks were loud as a gunshot and most were colorful.  After the fireworks ended we all got back in the car to go back to the hotel.  When we got there we became lost trying to find our room.  I was so tired I couldn’t walk so I went to sleep.

The next day we woke up and went running back to the arcade. The day was filled with eating breakfast, more roller coasters, and more shows at the Circus Circus.  After another fun day in Las Vegas, my mom said, “Let’s go home!” because it was getting late. So we packed our bags and left and waved one more time to say good-bye to the people, and that was my trip to Las Vegas.
