Mexico

My first trip to Mexico was very fun, memorable, and a trip that anyone would love to take. This trip was one of the best trips I have experienced so far and traveling with my family makes it even more special. Just a few of the many things that my family and I did were discovering animals, swimming in the ocean, and having an adventurous time on a catamaran.
My sister always discovered many animals and wanted to take pictures with them every time we saw a bird or monkey. She would have a lot of fun finding these different animals. Some of these animals were parrots, fish, birds, and monkeys. My family would like to view these animals also. We would some times ask strangers to take the picture of our whole family, taking too much time, eventually just ended up with no animal in the picture. I liked to see the animals also since I am an animal person, but only when I saw my favorites.
Another thing that we did was swimming in the ocean, which was dangerous and fun. My family and I had a lot of fun but we had to be very careful because there were sharks in the water, occasionally. This water was very salty and tasted disgusting. On the up side, the water was really warm and when it would rain it was still warm and refreshing. Having it fall perfectly on our skin, just made us feel happier. Parasailing was another activity that we did over the water. Well I don’t like heights so I didn’t participate, but my mom, dad, sister, and brother said that it was a lot of fun. I heard my family say that the sights they saw from this height were amazing. They saw giant turtles from 100 feet in the air. The pictures were amazing. The next time we go I will definitely do this.
The last thing that we did was riding on a catamaran to Isla Mujeres. A catamaran is a large boat that has a trampoline floor that you can jump on and have lots of excitement. This ride was very pleasurable, and enjoyable. We made lots of memories on that boat. The ride over to Isla Mujeres was warm; you just felt the wind on your shoulders, and the brisk water falling on your face. The tour guides played relaxing music on our way over to the island. When we arrived on a different island we got to go eat at a very special place that only the boat passengers were allowed to go. It was the best tasting food ever. At this place we were allowed to go swimming in the small pool that was there. After eating, we got back on the boat and went to Isla Mujeres. This was not the most beautiful island but it was fun to shop at. We went to many places, but my favorite was The Hammock Shop. Now I definitely know what you are thinking, “She’s going to get a hammock?” Well yes we did get a hammock and we got to take it home with us and we have enjoyed it ever since.
The trip to Mexico was the best thing I have experienced in a very long time, and I will never forget the many things that my family and I did. Watching my family having fun made me feel bad for not going parasailing and I am looking forward to going next time. Swimming in the ocean was fun, and somewhat dangerous, but it was still very unforgettable. All of the memories that my family and I made are the most important things that I will remember and will never forget. Mexico is a exciting place to go to and I can't wait for my next experience.
